  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup (50g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (60ml) milk (room temperature)
  • Equipment: A small air fryer-safe baking tin (e.g., 6-inch round or square, or a small loaf tin). Ensure it fits comfortably inside your SNAPCHEF Air Fryer basket with space for air circulation.

Method

STEP 01

Prepare & Combine Dry:

Lightly grease and flour your air fryer-safe baking tin. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

STEP 02

Cream Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract

Step 03

Alternate & Mix Batter

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry. Mix until just combined; lumps are okay.

Preheat, Bake, Check & Cool

Preheat SNAPCHEF Air Fryer to 160°C (320°F) for 5–7 mins. Pour batter into tin and place in fryer.
Bake 20–30 mins. Check with toothpick after 20 mins—if clean, it’s done. If not, bake 3–5 mins more.
Cool in tin 10 mins, then on wire rack.
